Latest News & Information for Paramotor Pilots
>10 Litre Fuel tank - 16 Jan 09
Further to ParamotorsUK ongoing communication last year and recently with the CAA regarding the 10 ltr fuel tank rule, after it was inadvertantly bought to their attention, we can now announce that the CAA have agreed to the remove the rule from the ANO in due course.
The ANO will be amended at the next reprint and the 10 ltr rule will be removed.
Until such time it is suggested that some level marking is provided on the tanks to a volume not exceeding 10 ltrs then the aircraft can remain within the definition by that means.
Thanks must also go to RMH for his letter which undoubtedly helped with regards to the competition side of the ruling enforcement.

BMAA FLM Training System Announcement
Today the BMAA wrote to all the BMAA FLM Instructors announcing the withdrawal of the BMAA FLM Training System. Some instructors will not receive their notification for several days due to post delay. The intention was to advise the instructors first out of courtesy before the matter was made public. It seems that one or more recipients of the notice have chosen to discuss the move in public and so rather than let speculation and rumour take control we have decided to publish the Announcement and go public.
